Dust Disposal
In many parts of the world, increased awareness and legal enforcement of environmental legislation relating to airborne dust raises specific issues when handling filler dust.
Many plants operating with certain types of material generate excess filler dust that has to be removed from the plant and the site.
To reduce to a minimum the possibility of airborne dust Phoenix offer dry or wet systems for its removal.
Wet Dust Conditioner
An environmentally acceptable and efficient method for the safe removal from site of excess filler dust.
By the addition of small amounts of water through a fine spray, the continuous mixer with twin contra-rotating shafts conditions the dust and creates an easily manageable dust-free 'cake' for eventual removal.
Dry Removal
For delivering dry dust directly into tankers with the minimum dispersion, Phoenix can supply retractable discharge bellows that connect from the discharge outlet of the filler silo (or screw conveyor) to the tanker.
